Looms:
We installed in 2002 new Sulzer G6300 looms to expand
our production in micro-fiber fabrics. These complement
the Sulzer projectile looms running daily for our clients.
New Knit Machines:
La
Escala has new Jersey (24 gage) and Rib/Interlock (18
gage) machines. This expands our current product line
to include both knit and woven fabrics of the highest
quality.
Advanced
Dyeing Technology:
La
Escala operates with the most advanced dyeing technology
in the world. The THEN Airflow answered our needs for
a high quality, flexible and environmentally friendly
machine to dye and apply special finishes to our fabrics.
In February of 2002, we installed a new MCS Multiflow
to expand our production capacity and improve capabilities
in reactive dyeing. THEN and MCS are recognized leaders
in technology innovation and we value our continually
expanding partnerships.
Cotton USA License:
La
Escala was approved on December 13, 1999 as a Cotton
USA licensee. The gold seal of quality in cotton, our
clients can be assured that our cotton fabrics use only
the finest quality U.S. cotton.
